Scalable projects with community impact
Our projects span diverse sectors, encompassing energy efficiency, nature-based sequestration, and engineered removal solutions. We prioritise projects which benefit from strong community engagement and that align with multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Approximately 2 billion people worldwide still rely on open fires or inefficient stoves for cooking. These traditional cooking methods generate harmful smoke, resulting in over 3 million deaths each year, and contribute to widespread deforestation and climate change. Switching to energy-efficient cooking stoves leads to significant reductions in firewood consumption and improved health outcomes, as well as allowing individuals more time for productive work.
Intensive farming practices commonly lead to severe land degradation and declining output. Agroforestry is a sustainable land-use system that integrates trees and crops on the same land area, which improves soil health, enhances agricultural yields and sequesters carbon. This makes it a powerful integrated tool for farmers to develop resilience against the effects of climate change.
Industrial development and climate change have put more than half of the world’s mangroves at risk of collapse. Mangroves are among the most carbon-rich forests on Earth and play a vital role in marine ecosystems. Protecting and restoring mangrove forests leads to the sequestration of vast amounts of carbon, an enhanced coastal environment, and improved livelihoods for local communities.
Biomass waste originating from forestry and agricultural processes are often burned or left to decompose, emitting large volumes of greenhouse gases. Biochar, a charcoal-like material, can be created using the process of pyrolysis where waste material is heated in the absence of oxygen. When applied to soil, biochar enhances soil structure, water retention, and nutrient availability, whilst its slow decomposition rate simultaneously makes it a long-lasting carbon sink.
Landfill sites are one of the largest sources of human-generated methane gas. Methane is a significant greenhouse gas, considered 28 times more potent than carbon dioxide, and is responsible for an estimated 30% of the current rise in global temperatures. By capturing and utilising landfill methane, we can reduce carbon emissions and generate valuable bio-energy from waste.

Integrity and Impact
Our Principles
We are an end-to-end developer of projects that directly reduce carbon emissions and have a transformative impact on local communities. These emissions savings are represented in the form of carbon credits, which can be used by organisations and governments to help meet their Net-Zero targets.
Additionality
Full Accountability
We are committed to delivering high-impact projects that create lasting positive change. We embrace a holistic approach to project design, assuming full responsibility and accountability for successful execution. We ensure robust implementation by over-engineering project parameters, whilst investing in high-quality, durable infrastructure and materials.

Community
Local Presence
We prioritise local engagement by directly employing and training community members to implement and monitor our projects. Our permanent local presence ensures accessible support for project participants, providing ongoing maintenance and a critical feedback loop. Our on-the-ground operations continuously inform and enhance project design and implementation.

Permanence
Data Focused
We believe that ensuring permanence hinges on the meticulous collection and rigorous analysis of the highest quality data, coupled with a comprehensive monitoring programme. We have invested significantly in robust infrastructure, cutting-edge technology, and extensive training to capture a multitude of data points at every stage of the project lifecycle. Through continuous data collection and analysis, we can effectively track and quantify a project’s impact.
