Urs Banziger is a Managing Director at Tramontana Asset Management.
Prior to joining Tramontana, Urs served as Country Head Switzerland for UniCredit with a focus on markets and the establishment of their commodity trade finance hub in Geneva. Urs has 20 years of experience in financial markets and began his career as a graduate at Barclays in London. Five years later he was given the opportunity to develop and lead Barclays fixed income franchise in Switzerland which included the establishment of a Swiss Franc capital markets business.
Prior to finance, Urs was the CEO of a cleantech startup in Australia manufacturing lighting control systems to reduce energy consumption in commercial buildings, he also serves as a member of parliament in the Swiss city of Winterthur
