Tramontana acts as both investor and developer in carbon emissions reduction projects within these markets. We focus on the nature-based project themes of energy efficiency, forestry and blue carbon, which we believe offer the greatest climate and societal impact.

We create scalable, high-integrity projects with maximum-impact. To achieve this, we take full ownership and control of project lifecycles from the design stage through to implementation, certification and monitoring. In order to ensure accuracy and consistency of data, the firm has developed its own robust technology to collect, validate and analyse project data. All of our projects have been designed to exceed international certification standards.

We strive to maximise the impact on local communities by implementing carbon projects that deliver on multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals including alleviating poverty and gender inequality, improving food security and reducing deforestation.

Tramontana's projects are primarily located in Asia, and in 2023 we enhanced our local capabilities by acquiring Cropzone. Our combined carbon project team now has over 40 full-time staff.
