Approach
Full Accountability and End-to-End Processing
We work with smallholders across Araku Valley, in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is an under represented coffee-growing region and home to indigenous tribal communities. Through our sustainable carbon projects we have built strong relationships with these communities and are proud to be able to showcase their coffee to the world. Our digital audit trail ensures that each bag of coffee is traceable back to the villages in which it is grown. In this way we guarantee there is direct line of sight to the individual growers who have produced the coffee that is enjoyed in every cup.
We are a trusted partner for coffee smallholders in Araku Valley, having built a strong local presence through our carbon projects. Our dedicated local team regurlarly engage with smallholders, offering agronomy advice and promoting regenerative practices.
We purchase and collect harvested coffee directly from across 10,000 family-owned smallholdings. The coffee is grown under the shade of tree canopies following regenerative farming practices, without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides.
By employing a data-driven approach, all coffee is traceable back to the smallholder. Our local field team visit farms regularly and digitally record data through our proprietary app. This ranges from crop information and farm practices, to photos and geo-coordinates.
Smallholders primarily produce washed Arabica in the region. We collect the coffee throughout the harvest season from the smallholdings, paying upfront for the lots, then transport it to our 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art dry mill for processing and export. With our mill, we are able to deliver over 50,000 bags per harvest.
Our experienced team have streamlined the shipping and logistics process to ensure smooth delivery to our buying partners. Our processing facility, warehouses and ports are all strategically located to facilitate efficient trade and export.

Integrity and Impact
Our Values
We are committed to supporting a sustainable coffee supply chain, ensuring that smallholders receive a fair price for their harvest, whilst delivering consistent quality to our purchasing partners globally.
Quality Coffee
We adopt responsible sourcing practices with smallholders and use latest processing technologies to produce consistent, high quality coffee. We maintain full accountability of the supply chain and ensure that each graded coffee bag is traceable back to its location of origin.

Economic Wellbeing
Working directly with remote communities who typically live below the poverty line, we support every smallholder through equitable prices and long term support. This allows smallholder families to become more efficient producers, with the aim to sustainably transform their livelihoods and achieve financial independence.

Sustainable Agriculture
We promote the use of best agricultural practices and improvements to land productivity under regenerative systems. By avoiding the use of chemicals, we ensure soils remain healthy, biodiversity thrives and climate-induced weather impacts are reduced.
